Naked to the world

Baring it all takes courage. It takes tenacity. It takes a certain type of stupidity.

Having it all out in the open, exposed to the elements, for all of humanity.

Humanity. The exact same ones who will look and point. They'll laugh and they'll pity. They'll tell everyone they know, just so everyone can see.

But sometimes, amidst all the laughter, ridicule, and tears, there will be one who will see you for who you truly are.

The person you wanted to show all along. The person that you knew would come out once you bared it all. The person you truly are; without disguise nor facade.

The person who sees you in that light, is the one who understands who you are; who you are to become.

Because,

They bared it all with you.

You have found each other.

Now run.

Through rain or shine.

There always something about the morning rain. It makes me just want to curl up in bed and stay in for the day. To stay warm and cozy and not worry about anything else.

In some, rain brings about dread and despair. The fight through the morning traffic. The constant worry about preparing for rain lasting the whole day. Some just thought quickly if they owned an umbrella while reading this.

But seeing the sun shine through the rain gives one hope and faith. Hope that the day won't be as bad as they thought. Faith in the fact that the choice they made to get up and go won't be in vain.

It brings a smile to their face.

Besides, do you even own an umbrella?

Flowers outside the house.

It's always something about the way that flowers tend to make you think about emotions. I guess maybe it's their inherent beauty. Perhaps it's due to life experience; be it yours or the people around you. It tends to generate a calming soothing effect on some and hatred and spite in others. Some are hardly affected.

But you can't deny that it does stop them from thinking about their current thoughts. Though not completely. Think of flowers as interjecting an emotion in one's life and mind. To make you laugh, smile, cry, angry, or feel none of those at all.

But you felt something. Something.
